National recognition for ‘Trust Talk’
Published: 21st July 2016
Trust Talk magazine created by Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT) has received national recognition at The UK Public Sector Communications Awards 2016.
The in-house designed magazine was one of eight shortlisted in the ‘Publication of the year’ category. The award ceremony was held at the Emirates Stadium in London and celebrated the work of public sector communication campaigns.
Kath Hughes, Head of Engagement and Communications for CPFT said: “Although we didn’t win on the night, we are very proud to have been shortlisted for this national award and have Trust Talk recognised as a publication. Trust Talk was developed as a way to showcase some of our wonderful work to people outside of the Trust, it is also a great platform to celebrate our “good stuff” which is our amazing people, our partnerships, our shared knowhow and heart of the community. The NHS is in the news a lot and the focus is often on controversial issues, Trust Talk aims to make all of the outstanding work our teams are doing day in day out visible as well.”
Four editions of Trust Talk have been produced since the launch of the magazine last September including a special Cumbrian flood edition, highlighting the fantastic work teams within the Trust carried out. The magazine shares bundles of inspiring staff and patient related stories as well as current hot topics and challenges the Trust is facing.
The next edition of Trust Talk will be available in August; digital versions of Trust Talk are available on the CPFT website.
