Better Care Together and a ‘Sick’ performance are just some of the highlights you can hear about at Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trusts Annual Members Meeting.
The event, which will take place on Wednesday 23rd September at Rheged Visitor Centre, Penrith from 11am – 3:30pm will have a host of interactive sessions and stands on offer throughout the day that celebrate the good stuff happening in our local community and mental health services.
Kicking off the day will be the Board of Directors; looking back on their achievements and challenges in 2014/15 and discussing what the local community can expect to see in the upcoming year, there will also be an opportunity for members to put their questions to the Board and meet and hear from the Governors.
The Trusts Resuscitation team will be challenging attendees to take show off their skills on lifelike manikins, with accurate feedback on how well they performed CPR. This is just one of the many services being showcased over the lunch period.
After lunch attendees will be treated to an interactive performance of ‘Sick’ that was used to teach children how to use NHS services properly - from the Beggars Theatre in Millom. There will also be an update from senior representatives of Better Care Together and the North Cumbria Success Regime.
