This is a really exciting time to become a Trust member at Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, particularly as we are now working much more closely with our colleagues at North Cumbria University Hospitals NHS Trust. This means in the future there will be even more opportunities that our members can get involved within to help shape more health services in the county.
As a member you can have your say to help improve and shape our services as well as receiving regular updates from us including our latest news.
As an NHS Foundation Trust, we need support from lots of different people and one way you can do this is by becoming a member. Being a Foundation Trust means a lot more people can have their say on our services. We also have more choices and freedom to change to meet the needs of the people who use our services. It also means we have ‘members’.
The views of our members are represented by 47 individual Governors who work closely with the Board of Directors to develop business plans in line with the needs of local people.
Becoming a member is free and you can decide how much time you would like to give. Anyone aged 14 and lives in Cumbria can join us.
What can I do if I become a member?
- Have a greater say in how our services are run and developed
- Get involved in our co-production sessions - read more about more about co-production opportunities and meetings
