Working with our Commissioners and other health and social care organisation in Cumbria, we are developing innovative roles and leading Vanguard projects with NHS England. We are a looking to appoint staff in progressive roles with a passion for the quality improvement journey we are taking. Transforming services in Mental Health, Children & Families, Community Healthcare and our growing provision of Specialist Services.

Candidates interested in work in North Cumbria University Hospital Trust or University Hospital of Morcambe Bay alongside community based work are welcome to discuss this.

Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is a large integrated provider of community and mental health services employing over 4000 people across a range of primary, community and specialist services.

The clinical services are structured in 4 Care Groups: Children’s Services, Community Services, Specialist Services and Mental Health. Although separately managed, there is an emerging culture of synergistic, cross boundary working between the Care Groups.

In the wider Cumbrian context, there is strategic commitment across primary and secondary care, commissioners, the local authority and the third sector to work creatively and collaboratively across the whole health and social care economy. The development of this is supported by the Cumbrian Learning and Innovation Collaborative (CLIC) and the Cumbrian Alliance.

We work closely with partners in Cumbria County Council, Cumbria Clinical Commissioning Group, North Cumbria Hospital Trust, University Morecambe Bay Trust and others. Currently Together For a Healthier Future is supporting development of integrated working in the North of the county and Together for a Healther Furture is driving change in South Cumbria.

We aim to ensure that people of all ages are happy, healthy and able to achieve their goals.
