The Journal

This is the home page of the Cumbria Partnership Journal of Research, Practice and Learning, designed to celebrate the high quality and innovative activity that takes place every day within Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

The Journal is for our staff, our community and our partners, both in Cumbria and beyond. By learning from each other we can continue to provide even better care for the people we serve. The aims of the journal are to share good practice in clinical, professional and vocational activity relevant to the services and functions of the Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. Thus we intend the journal to be a high quality professional practice publication that reflects the work of the Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, its partners and other practitioners in the UK.

In 2011 we produced two issues of the journal. We hope that we can get enough colleagues interested in writing about their research, audit, training and clinical work to aim for three or four issues in future years. We hope that the journal will be seen as a good place to publish whether you are writing your first article or whether you are an experienced writer who wants to share work with a focussed audience.
