Cumbria Partnership joins over 100 organisations in #hellomynameis launch
Published: 2nd February 2015
Today we are joining more than 100 organisations in a massive movement launched by a terminally ill doctor from the North of England. See our staff vide collage.
The 'Hello my name is….' campaign was created by Dr Kate Granger, a young hospital consultant from Yorkshire who works in elderly care, to improve the patient experience not only here in the UK, but across the world. Kate became frustrated with the number of staff who failed to introduce themselves to her when she was in hospital.
Claire Molloy, Chief Executive kicked off the campaign at Cumbria Partnership by posting a photo of herself with the #hellomynameis poster. Claire is encouraging staff to support the campaign by sending in pictures of themselves with the hellomynameis poster. Send us your pictures to firstname.lastname@example.org or via twitter @CPFTNHS and we will post as many as we can.
