Patients encouraged to feedback to the CQC

A comprehensive inspection of the services provided by Cumbria Partnership NHS Foundation Trust will be undertaken by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) in November.
This is a routine inspection that all Trusts in England and Wales would expect to receive every three years as part of the CQC inspection model.
The inspection begins on the 9th November 2015 and the inspectors will visit all of our mental health units, half of our community inpatient services and a third of all our community based services.
In preparation for this, comment boxes provided by the CQC have been distributed to all of our sites to collect feedback on our services to the CQC before the inspection.
The boxes are at each of the services that are due to be inspected and will be collected and delivered to the CQC at the start of the inspection.
Chief Executive Claire Molloy said: “We welcome the CQC inspection, it is a chance for our staff to show some of the great work that they are doing across the Trust and for us to be open and honest about issues and difficulties we face; so that the CQC can properly support us. With this in mind it is very important that our patients give feedback about our services too – good and bad. This feedback along with the inspection will help us continually improve and ensure we are continually striving to reach our vision of helping out communities live happier helpful and more hopeful lives.”
