Sexual Health Services supporting Gay Pride event

Staff from Sexual Health Services celebrated the Gay Pride event in Carlisle on Saturday 20th June. 

The city centre was busy with acts and entertainment supporting the Gay Pride event. In total more than 20 bands and singers were included in the line up for this year’s celebration. Marc almond headlined the event which attracted crowds of all ages from across the county. People were encouraged to wear wigs and bright clothing at the free event, which started at middayand continued  until early evening followed by an after party at The Regency nightclub on Fisher Street. Staff from sexual health services, Kerry Devaney, Tracy Alderson, Rachel Jardine, Laura Schwencke, Helen Matthews, Jane Fraser and Kirsty Pickles were on hand to join in the fun, provide freebies and information.
