Child Health Information System Service (CHIS)

The Child Health Information Service is an IT system used to record clinical activity and public health interventions with children.  These track the population within particular Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG) or local authority geographic boundary and schedule routine interventions such as immunisations, screening and developmental checks. The child health records department support the information system in scheduling, recording and monitoring of public health programmes and manage enquires about the health status of children in the local population.
